Rally Info

Neste Oil Rally Helsinki Battle starts off at 12.45 pm with the warm-up races where the drivers get the first touch to the track before the actual race. The length of a two-lap performance is in total 1650 meters. This short track does not require the help of a co-driver but the rally drivers need to fully master the tricky curves and speed bumps of the track. Especially the 360-degree spin requires a careful test drive. Each driver has a five-minute warm up run.

The qualifications, where the drivers will compete against the clock, will start at 3 pm. The Finnish legendary rally stars will start the race one-by-one. After this the today´s star drivers will make their entrance. One performance includes two laps and the race times of each lap will be combined into one overall time. All of the drivers have two performances and the best time out of the two performances will be taken into account. Only the fastest drivers will proceed to the final battle.

At 5 pm the day will culminate to the final battle between the fastest Finnish rally legend and the fastest today´s star racer. Both of the Battle drivers have two performances that both include two laps. The fastest driver will be crowned as the Neste Oil Rally Helsinki Battle champion.
